Kathy Saxondale is a Welsh crime novelist from Cardiff. She now lives in Monmouth, but before retiring to write fiction full-time, she spent more than thirty years working alongside people whose lives were shaped by trauma, addiction and exploitation.
Those experiences inspired her CAGED novels, character-driven crime thrillers set in Tiger Bay, Cardiff, where organised crime collides with ordinary lives.
Her work combines propulsive thriller plots with Celtic noir, exploring survival, identity and the choices people make when there are no good options.
