Kathy Saxondale is an actor and writer based in Wales, UK.

She spent her early career as a teacher of modern languages and later as a therapist. She speaks Spanish, French and Portuguese fluently and gets by in Italian and Welsh.

She always enjoyed jazz singing and writing and in 2008 when an old friend asked her to help out on a stage production of The King and I, she decided to retrain her voice and take some acting lessons. She was hooked. 

Since 2009 she has appeared in several stage and film productions playing characters as diverse as Lady Macbeth on stage to Karen Cooper, the lead in the horror feature 'Night of the Living Dead: Resurrection' (Lionsgate/4Digital) released in 2012.

She is currently the face of NHS Direct Wales and is preparing to play Vivien Leigh in the feature film 'Desire' (Talking Picture Company) in New York in 2014. 

Kathy enjoys jazz, horse riding, skiing and is mother to two very talented and beautiful children.
